The CEA was based in the northern sector, the CCL (command and logistics) was based at the regiment HQ in Daloa, the 1st Company held Duekoue (at that time) whilst the 4th and 3rd Companies were spread at various points to the south and east of Duekoue. The only combat company missing is the 2nd Company, which was on a four month training tour in New Caledonia.
