| Some photos of the various flora and fauna of Gabon. The pictures of the snakes, spiders and scorpions are from the Cellule Jungle at Camp De Gaulle, where they keep the animals to study their behaviour and lifestyles. Other pictures are of wildlife that we happened to cross during our various sorties into the Gabonese terrain. | |
| A Python at the Cellule Jungle during feeding time. Jaws dislocated, it is swallowing a young hen. | |
| Only the feet of the hen rest outside the throat of the lage snake. | |
| The highly poisonous green mamba. A small and normally placid snake; we managed to find some very young examples in the wild. | |
| Another picture of the green mamba. | |
| A hammerhead shark fished by some of the local fishermen. | |
| A poisonous centipede. | |
